    LOMAC mission, 19/2/04 (A10 mission for n00bs)

Maybe we should make up a newbie mission? I'll have a fiddle about tonight (with LO:MAC of course!).

:edit: How about a free flight mission where non-newbies can help us newbies with things like formation flying and stuff like that? We could have a few airfields, a few carriers, different types of planes and a few hostiles (the non-aggresive ones) we could shoot down?

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

If you like next week I'll make a n00b friendly mission. A10's kicking hell out of some ground troops.

Can't fly the A10... well, I can fly it, but can't understand how the hell to drop bombs on anything! I either can't find the targets or can't hit them.

Ok those of you up for next week go get Team Speak RC2 and a mic - you're going to need it. I strongly suggest you get on MSN and add me as well.

Roger that. Where can you get this Team Speak from? I'm sure I've looked it up before and couldn't find it...

Think I've got a mic lying around somewhere...

Just split this thread from the other one so we can keep the two seperate.

Right - everyone who wants to fly post the following so I've got an idea where we stand. Rate yourself 1 to 5, 5 being brilliant, 1 being not a clue.

    Proficiency in:

    A10 Takeoff, landing and Navigation:
A10 straffing - rockets and cannon:
A10 bombing - cluster and iron:
    A10 self defense - sidewinders:
    A10 A2G guided missiles - Maverick use:

We'll not worry about stuff like dodging missiles and AAA just yet, that can be another time.

I think I'm gonna practice a bit too on the A-10's. Gonna try all the practice sessions again, but that means re-installing and not patching the update!
