    Lomac and Anti-Aliasing

Looks great doesn't it with AA turned up to 6X - and no frame-rate hit !

...at least thats what I thought...

now try flying through overcast clouds and over a burning airfield..

    ..oh dear....

Basically AA KILLS Lomac, - seriously. I've been flying Lomac with AA up to max with what I thought was good framerates and smoothness. Then I tried something - I turned AA down to 2X then off completely.

Now I can take control of the Mig 29_Intercept track , dogfighting in Overcast cloud, storms. lightning and fog, and my frame rates never dropped below 25 - never.

Ok - with no AA it looks fugly, try it with 2 x AA, still nice performance but niticeably less jaggies, at least Lomac is now playing like it should

I play all games without AA and AF, I can't see much difference tbh! I prefer game speed to not severely slow down when something happens...

This game has cost me nearly £500 to date in upgrades - Ram/Mobo/CPU/Joystick etc.
