Best CoD4 Weapons and Perk Combo's

Lo people.

God I love CoD4, but I'm still generally pooh at it getting old you see!

So, I;'m interested to know what your favourite weapon and perk combo's are?

I have a love of MP5's with a silencer, Stopping Power and Stdy Aim if I've been drinking coffee all day and am fast and speedy.

I love silenced M4, with UAV jammer and Dead Silent when it's a small server and not many players, cos that's when my sound card pays for itself.

And I love G36 with a red dot site and stopping power and dead silence

and my favourite, is an RPD with a red dot site, uav jammer and deep impact. What a tool!

And you can tell I'm not a P90 man cos while it;s awesome my skills drop really fast and I get hooked on it.

I also vary between claymores and stun grenades and never carry 3 frags.

I'm quite partial to a SAW with red ot sight, bandolier, stopping power & extreme conditioning, because I like to see what i'm shooting, put a lot of fire down and still be able to kill something with the one round that does actually hit what I'm aiming at and running away afterwards, quickly

perks: UAV, double weapon thingie, deep impact

weapons: M4 since DF days, so always got a soft spot for it, with ACOG sights. Combined with Dragonuv sniper rifle

Also using M14 more, with AK-74 silenced.

always liked MP5 but a bit too much recoil for accuracy, I've decided.

nades are usually smoke

Weapons:
Silenced G36 or Silenced P90 (dependant on the maps)
Perks:
Bandolier (I tend to survive long enough to need the ammo)
Stopping Power (because people don't die quick enough)
Steady Aim (saves that little bit of time when you run round a corner into an enemy )

When play hardcore, I replace Stopping Power and Steady Aim with UAV Jammer and Silent Running for perfect stealth. I also use the M14 instead of the G36 since it can kill with one shot even without Stopping Power.

I use just about everything in many combination's but to name but a few:

MP5 w./ Silencer
Desert Eagle or M9 ( M9 shares ammo with Mp5 giving you 15 extra rounds)
Claymore x2, C4 x2, or Frag x3
Stopping Power or sometimes UAV Jammer
Steady Aim or Extreme Conditioning

or

G3 w./ Silencer or Acog
Desert Eagle
Claymore x2, C4 x2, Frag x3 or Bandolier
Stopping Power
Extreme Conditioning

or

M40A3
Desert Eagle
Claymore x2
Stopping Power
Iron Lungs

or (If I'm feeling crazy/bored)

M40A3 w./ Acog
Desert Eagle
Frag x3
Stopping Power
Steady Aim, Extreme Conditioning or Last Stand

If anyone puts Juggernaut or Matyrdom then please permaban them Zak

Edit: Perks 1,2 and 3 change if I do any hardcore game modes.

I use alot of uav jammer and silenced weapons- being my clan's pointman.

I tend to use something along the lines of:

G36c Silencer
m1911 Silencer
Bandolier
Uav Jammer
Extreme Conditioning
Frag and Stun

Seems to do me well, rush out past the nade spam at the start of any S&D match, grab a vantage point and your killin'

RPD is pretty useless without the grip but if you attach the grip is the best LMG of the lot due it having a good crosshair aswell. (stopping power + Extreme conditioning)

MP5 with silencer (Dead silence + stopping power + 3x nades.)

M16 with red dot sight(3x Nades + stopping power +martydom)

M4 with silencer (3x nades + double tap + matyrdom)

M403 normally with ACOG scope (2x claymore + stopping power + UAV Jammer)

And on search and destory hardcore always have C4, they always forget and it is 99% likely to kill them. espsh if your using a default with sonic boom

those are the main ones, if its on hardcore just change the stopping power to overkill.

I play hardcore mainly so dont really need to bother with stopping power or deep impact, but heere's my favourite class setup.

AK47 - Stock
Perk 1 - Bandolier
Perk 2 - Double Tap
Perk 3 - Dead Silence

Not many people have realised this, but if you use double tap with the AK47, it reduces the guns kick, making it more accurate.

My sniper class is: -

Main Weapon - R700
Secondary - AK74U (Stock)
Perk 1 - Claymores
Perk 2 - Overkill
Perk 3 - Extreme Conditioning, get to my sniper spots quicker

I prefer all my guns to be stock as I think I play miles better with stock weapons.

AK-47 with double tap, less recoil :S maaad wouldnt it have been the complete oppiste seeing as the AK-47 has terrible recoil to begin with

I actually miss all of us playing the UT3 demo on spud's server. That was quite some fun.

yes it has.... it's made my love of PC games re-think itself. I was always more of a long term fight man online...Il-2 flights can take hours, and Lineage is months of work! (well for me, nearly 2 years)

CoD4 brought back a fast paced love and now that Broad Band is so fast, it's ideal with coms and someone you trust
