I'm sick of run+spray games like CoD lately so I'm looking forward to this. Not sure whether to get it on PC or 360 - the PC version looks very tempting though because of the price difference...

Not holding my breath due to the cross-platform release.

Why does that matter? Most of the best games I know are cross-platform...

PC only games tend to have an interface designed for PC. In cross platform games, the PC interface is usually ported from the xbox one which isn't any good on the PC unless you happen to have a gamepad.

    I find the opposite true.

Looks really awesome. The lack of dedicated servers on launch (For PC) is a shame, but the coop play should make up for it. I've got a feeling it's going to be a Ghost Recon / Original Operation Flashpoint collaboration....

I prefer the slower type military games like GRAW and tactical stuff like Rainbow Six. Think this should fit nicely somewhere round that mark. Must admit not a great fan of the origional Op Flashpoint but this one looks pretty decent.

Going to grab it on PC when it gets released

Hmm Play.com seems to be bogged down with this release - I ordered game (not this) on Sunday and the status has only just changed to packing...

I waited all day for my lazy postman, decided to take a quick shower and he turns up..
Doesn't bother knocking or ringing the bell and just takes the package back to the Post Office

well my copy came today and i've just played 20 minutes. the graphics even for a console game are ****e. the vegetation and terrain is anyway, the effects/models are what i'd expect a game to have but at the lower end of my expectations. gameplay wise it seems ok from the little bit i played, doesn't feel like it's predecessor though.
