Asda is selling it for around £25 - you'll probably pay more than that second hand when the sale is over.

    Re: Operation Flaspoint Dragon Rising

Nope but I think it's pretty badly broken myself, just a few of the bugs I've noticed include firing your gun and the ammo counter stays the same and the bullets do no damage, freezing on the ground after reloading while prone, getting stuck in a vehicle and unable to drive it online, an I'm a little disappointed by how many bullets it takes to kill people ie normally over 5 whilst you can be killed in one, especially after them saying how realistic it was supposed to be. It also copes terribly with not-so-good connections - where other games might lag a bit and not register hits properly OF becomes completely unplayable. Anyway, besides all that it's not a bad game at all - I just think it's beta quality...

    @Watercooled:
What platform are you on? Because I haven't experienced any of those issues, other then the lag online.

    Re: Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising

some bugs me and knox encountered tonight are stuff like...

i died and gave fireteam command to knox, then respawned and although it said i had it back, the commands werent coming up on screen and only some of them seemed to do anything... also when i told ai to follow they followed knox instead...

I had an M16 cqb which fired shots which hit the target but was SILENT, not silenced... just no sound at all...

I have also had iunstances where i have shot the same guy single fire 10 times and had him not die... thats happened a few times and its ANNOYING...

and lastly me and knox were playing got to the end of level 9, i was out waiting to respawn and it seemed like knox fell over and died and the mission failed... he wasnt shot, he wasnt killed, just climbed a rock and instant death.... needless to say we were both furious after this was our 3rd attempt

a fair few other bugs i've come across, but very enjoyable game otherwise...

I've had that bug where shooting people does nothing - also at the same time notice your mag doesn't deplete (at least it doesn't for me) so it's like it's doing the animation/sound for shooting but not actually registering a bullet being fired. Also on on mission at night you have to go plant a charge at this place and if you walk over the barriers you damage both legs. Also, like I said before I'm a bit disappointed especially after watching videos like this and after them saying it's very realistic the fact it takes LOADS of bullets to hurt most people.

(PC) Indeed - Codesmasters should be ashamed of the state of OFDR released - some patching is needed! If you die during a mission, at least you can rewstart from the last checkpoint - co-op games sees player have to restart a mission FROM THE BEGINING when this happens!

An don't get me started about the 'AI'...

I'm pretty sure it's meant to be that way, that's why you get respawns and such.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but there has been a discussion about the first patch and Codemaster have confirmed that the first patch will NOT include the stuff required to setup a dedicated server.

So glag I didnt rush out to buy this game while all my mates were.

Go into your inventory, scroll down to field dressing (or medkit if you're a medic) and select that, wait for the apply dressing prompt and then hold down the fire button.

Or bring up the command radial and select, Tactics/Tactical > Medic (From memory, something like that).
It'll get the medic in your squad to heal you properly, the field dressing is more a temporary solution.

that usually gets anybody in your squad to heal you when your bleeding out, and the medic if your not bleeding but hurt
