    Nice screenies

I think Zak's being too modest. He got me bang to rights on a couple of occasions (blowing the wing off my IL2 being the best)

I cheated.....I played against Luke for over an hour solid to pricatice.

    Tell you what tho...I have found a new toy.....that little B239 (?) German thingy....what a tool.

And first time EVER I stalled less than the opponent.......

P47 was a good plan I think,......teaches you smoothness and energy preservation.....just cant believe how SLOW it is....once its at 350 level it just stops acelerating....I tried all sorts of pitches and angles of climb....it zoom climbs from 350 to 250 and level off....but its not even NEAR a FW....

Was very good fun and immensely rewarding ......good to have viewers too.....

but Stoo.......you gave it away mate.....with your Jaws impersonation...I HAD NO IDEA where Moby was...until you started your Jaws music.....then I sussed you, and low(literally) and behold.....the oblique wing of an Il2.
    Soon swaed that off tho

However......Luke is simply fantastic in a SPit....I got muellered yesterday, so my respect levels were high and my cockyness at an all time low....hence the preservation of my speed in lots of turns that evening....he was all over me like a rash.....even in my FW190 A9......once I'd finally found him and zoomed him twice.....he was fast enough to stay with me in most of the dives....he bottled when he needed too...and the Island map was very.....restrictive.

Unlike the evening Islands map...thanks Tumble....I understand more of it now

But all bar one thing, the Spiut is currently king except the Ki84...

That one exception.....a FW190 WILL out turn a SPit ONCE.......after that I was toast.....but he was well shocked

Speeds above 350 to 400.....the butcher bird turns WELL TIGHT

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

Zak, I wish I could explain why/how I got onto your 6 as much as I did, but as I said, it just happened - Whether it was my own luck or skill, or you making a mistake, I do not know

I know its frustrating for you, but its even more frustrating for me, cos I get off-days/weeks when I can't fly for f### - and its then when I've got a problem because I don't know how to start flying like I can

    Grats Moby

And Zak, in the Spit against that FW I was on the verge of losing my wings a few times - If you'd have gone 30 metres lower then I'd have had to pull away from you and you'd have been able to follow me in the climb instead. And with the lower dive, and thus, more airspeed, and the more powerful engine you had, you would have been all over my Spit - And I don't think I'd have a defense against it

...the knack with the P-47 is to really make sure you're using the prop pitch nice and smoothly in the dives and climbs and tight turns. I've got two buttons on my joystick programmed to do this (ideally I could do with a second throttle lever). I think that's why I was getting inside you in the P-47 (the time you ended up all smokey )

Those little B239 things are great fun

    nice

    it is lovely

Forget Anti Aliasing ....but in the GAME you'll be on very high settings for most stuff...

still worth fiddling with the Config to knock trees down tho.
