Which new plane... ?
.. was the first one you tried out in AEP?
I havent got the list here... but if Zak or someone could bung a poll up.. thatd be good! I've still not flown AEP yet.. and just wondering whether to fly one of the spits or the p38 as the first bird.. .. so.. which one was the FIRST one YOU tried?

I was like a kid in a sweet shop. Too much candy I wanted it all!
I think I tried the Spit first - then every single other plane in close succession. I love the P-38L - it has so much power and is surprisingly light on its wings. I love the Gladiator. Dogfighting that with the Fiat biplane is really exhilerating. Some of the jets are really good fun too. Most disappointing for me was the ME-110. ![]() 'Make mine a Spitfire, Landlord!' |

Spit, closely followed by P-38
I firstly fired up the FMB and created a simple freeflight with the Spit on the offshore base on the Normandy map. Fired her up and took off - bloody creamed myself then bent the prop after nudging the brakes too hard after I landed

I tried the Gladiator first... and what a plane omg.. you can drive it sooooo slowly and it won't fall. specially with the FOUR landing flaps you get out....
