It used to be the norm to have inverted look controls for FPS games (ie: move the mouse up the pad to look down and vica versa) , but now the default is to not invert the controls. I've never been able to readjust and always invert my mouse look. How about you?

Re: Invert your mouse? One of my earliest mouse gaming memories was with X-wing on the mac, and as they were flight controls, I got used to the inverted method. This then got transferred to other games, and is now my norm for TPS and FPS... Tried with the other way, but cant get used to it... And hopefully never will have to, if they always leave the option in.

Re: Invert your mouse? Which iconic FPS games have had inverted pitch? Can't recall any myself but I've always changed it straight away so it's easy to forget and I'm curious Last edited by Zap; 24-10-2009 at 04:07 PM..

Re: Invert your mouse? I like it upside down.........baby.....Anything else is just weird. I don't understand Perfectionist when he says Quake and Doom didn't have mouselook ?? I used to invert those as well.

| Re: Invert your mouse? *ALWAYS*, without exception. When I push the mouse forward it's like leaning forward, which means looking downwards, and vice versa. Anything else just annoys me. Originally Posted by Agent

Re: Invert your mouse? I've always prefered using non-inverted for mouse-look, whether using a mouse or an analogue stick. The only time I use inverted is when controlling aircraft, because it's the only time it feels natural to me.

Re: Invert your mouse? ^ This same for me! With Analog sticks on a console it feels more like a Joystick so its more like pitch on a flight sim. But for mouse its what I consider "normal" mouse away from me to look up, as if my targetting reticule was the cursor on a desktop....
