I feel very happy, just played a co-op with Luke and i have to say it was a lot of fun, very pleased with my performance in avoiding getting shot up by the AI, (dunno what setting it was on, was a VEF map from way back so figure it was veteran?)

But managed to kill a Bf109 and a BF110, and score a massive... wait for it.....

-270 POINTS!.

The AI escort decided to fly into my tail while i was following luke in formation next second i know i've got singed wings and a big explotion has gone off with friendly aircraft destroyed flashing up

Only 3rd flight in the Spitfire VB version i think, but i was amazed at its turn rate....

Still got stack loads to improve against human pilots, but i can shoot down AI's or people not watching me..... Figure thats what to work on from this moment....

You flew well dude - lasted longer than me in that Spit, and that 110 died really quickly (I was pleasantly surprised to see it go down as fast as it did - what was it, 2 or 3 quick bursts of fire? )

Veteran AI level is pretty darn good aswell - they are lethal in headons - especially with the fragile Spit engine. That mission was pretty buggy anyhow - the AI's aren't very intelligent and crash a lot, helped me the one time in that though - 109 and 110 collided on my 6

And TBH, if you can shoot down Veteran AI's, you are really on your way to shooting down a lot of human planes

It's a shame I'll be away from flying for a few days now though - various holidays and stuff going on means I'm away from broadbean for a week or so, then I'm out of here for a week after that
