Can someone explain this imbalance to me pls
Date: 23 March 1943 Time: 12:09 Weather: Clear Clouds at 1400 m Target for today is German supply column in Novorossiysk sector. The attack group consists of 4 I-16 t.24. Distance to target 53 km Flight altitude: 500 m They will be escorted by 6 LA-5 from Fedorovskaya airfield. Enemy attacks are expected today near Mingrelskaya. Our squadron will not patrol the area. Date: 23 March 1943 Time: 12:09 Weather: Clear Clouds at 1400 m We have a report that Soviet tanks near Mingrelskaya are moving toward the front lines. Distance to target 44 km Flight altitude: 3000 m The strike group consists of 6 BF-110/G2. They will be escorted by 8 BF-109G2 from Myskhako airfield. The enemy may attack Novorossiysk today. We do not have sufficient forces to patrol the area Basic brain mode ON 10 VVS 14 LW hows that work then? |

They argued it wasn't a fighter-bomber like the other Attack/Jabo planes, and eventually Starshoy agreed and made it selectable. All bombers (Including Recons) have a full amount of selectable fighter planes for the agreed amount set by the host (IE, 8 fighters if Host sets max 8 fighters). But, as Attack/Jabo planes are classed as extra fighter planes, the number of fighters along with them is reduced by 2 to compensate.
And as the 110 rolled up with AEP, it made its way onto the selectable list - and thats no problem at all. Except for when its used in the jackass way, intercepting IL2's with no regard for target
