I've lost my chatbox - help

Posted on netwings - but I thought I'd post here too.

I managed to screw up the resizing of my chat box in FB. Now all I can see of it in the numbers 8. and 9. I can resize it and move it abaout, but I can't type into it, or at least I can't see what I type. Also I can no longer see anyone elses chat.

Does anyone know what I might have done or how I can fix it?

    Thanks

resize it so you got at least 3 lines showing.... type summat in, and press page down until you see your text.. I think...

Hit the chat key, move your mousepointer up to the top of the screen, and drag the window down.

Using notepad, open up your conf.ini file (in your main Forgotten Battles Folder).... and go to the section marked [chat]

If you replace what you have there with mine, then your chat box will in theory appear the same as mine - and probably not in the way you want it.. however, you should be able to alter accordingly to your taste.

Once set up the way you want it, it would make sense to create a back up of your conf.ini file..

    [chat]

Thanks Hat. That seems to have solved the problem. I've no idea whether I can see other peoples chat - but I can test that later. Got to get on with some work for now.

Stand on one leg, with a fish finger in the left ear, click the start button three times and offer your first frag to Ybom, God of the prop.

And get on with some work....
can still see you lurking in here....
