Very tense last night :)

VEF as good as I've had it

Got to target but lost Knox to gun fire and he had to bail.....found the target, used TiG's/MA's new principle of Canons set to 600........pounded hell outta the convoy....ran for home hearing Dakky fighting off the pursuers...and then saw two Barrage Balloons over our north base...headed for them...but to Daks insistance gave him my bearings so he could follow me up high.....thank christ he did

"Dak.....those baloons....they're moving"

Anyway.......dropped low, ran like a tart, and suddenly spotted the guy turn, so following Daks principle of turn and fight I whacked my I16 round and withing 10 seconds was over this low Energy 109 like a rash......hit him a few times but tono avail....saw my chance to bug out....and did....

meanwhile Rias is lost badly lost, but spots the convot eventually and strafes it a few times before running for home too.....by now Dak has paid the price for my bravery and got shot down.... but it takes me 10 minutes to find a base.......

landed......and jut before.....ENEMY AIRCRAFT destroyed

3 Vehicles and 1 Human Oppo

Rias then spots a field, swoops it twice to make sure its deffo a runway, and cos she's doin 350 kph and then Marlin Hops like a pro.

God that was exciting ....cheers Dakky and co .

Second....everyone gets excited cos its Spitty's but I choose the I16 again...Deck and Moby jump in too.

ALl these MArlins makes me smile

Moby panned it on take of (UL mate, I nearly collected the tower ) and Rias joins Deck for a 3000 metre support......but....she can tell you later how she got lost....

I find the convoy.....so does Stoo....we give them HELL....and then on my final (no kidding) pass.......the AAA shoots me between the eyes and into my tank/engine/other explody thing!

gutted.....

BUT.......what I HAVE learned.......while rockets are great.....

600 metres....almost no point taking Rockets.....

That second mission I took hi cover while you attacked At one stage had 5 109s engaged while you beat up the ground tgts. Borked engine and had to bug out, struggled to red lines and dropped her on the road

1st mission was immense as well.

Rias found those too, eventually......turned with em a while and then got nailed....

....very pleased you kept them all engaged mate, if not for a lucky AAA shot I'd gotta away with that and got home too....those 109 G2's had no idea we were there thanks to you.....some struggle that.....5 vs 1.

Yeah, that was a good game.

Unfortunately, I was flying high top cover over the convoy and couldnt see those 109s down low... took out one at the top of his swoop as he did a B+Z, then went down into the thick of it after Rias, but couldn't get there in time.

Ended up damaging a couple more but got me tail blown off. Luckily managed to bail as the plane went down... got captured though. Was a damn fine game over all though.

if you and Rias fly together more, you need to get voice comms sorted with 'er. She at least lost the embarressed voice thing last night.

It was good to be incharge of the Groud Pounding......but even better to find myself in one of Russia's finest turn fighters on the arse of a badly flown 109

Second mission was even more stress full, cos I knew you were up there and I JUST SO WANT TO DOGFIGHT when you're all getting the hell kicked outta you...BUT....had to do my job.....quite a nasty feeling hearing you and seeing Dak talk about the bad guys on you.

...that was my plan once I realised how many of them there were, but by then I had no controls and couldn't do much but go in a straight line (and as I was heading towards the ground that wasn't great news!!)

Was good fun though, I enjoyed it!! First mission was much better than the second, very tense!!!

It was the second one that I got "lost" in .... although I wasn't strictly "lost", cos I knew exactly where I was, it just wasn't where I wanted to be!!!! Learnt a valuable lesson there... follow compass heading, not a blob in the sky....
... oh... and voice comms... I'll use 'em more, I promise!
