Guys... Just while we're on Cyborgs. Got the evo, and it's great. Only thing I cant seem to config is the throttle (U axis). I can get/set all else for flying just not this. I've tried latest patches, and to be honest they completely borked my game - lost loads of keyboard and mouse functions - ESC being one! (But that's prolly me bein crap at patchin
). Just wonderin if this is common. BTW on Sturmovik. Any suggestions most humbly received. Cheers, Rob |

it should just plug and play and work properly...
and have you tried calibrating it? Most Saiteks don't actually have a calibration screen in the control panel - you just wind all the axis in and out, including the throttle and it calibrates itself...

Thanks tumble
It shows as working in calibration, which is why I wondered if it was something I was not doing right in the game setup. Might have another try at installing latest patches again. *edit* Fixed now LINK Last edited by rj45ethernut; 10-06-2004 at 05:58 PM.. |

I've been thinking of replacing my Cyborg 3D. I recently bought an Evo for my Dad and he loves it (as many of you guys seem to) which puts me leaning in that direction. However x45 prices are falling towards the £50 mark and I wonder if that's a better option.
Deckard or any other x45 owner, I understand the rudder control on the x45 is situated on the throttle. As I'm used to rudder twist on my joystick how much of an adjustment will I have to make to my flying style? ![]() 1 : Q9450 | 2Gb PC8500 DMX | P5E-WS Pro | HD2900XT | 2 x 750Gb (RAID1) | DVDRW | Corsair 650W TX | CM 590 | 2x VP171s-2 2 : X2 4200+ | 2Gb PC3200 | A8N-SLI Premium | 6600GT | SonicFury | 8x 250Gb (2x RAID10) | 3Ware 9650SE-8LPML | DVDRW | Seasonic 700W | Stacker 830 | 2x VP171s-2 3 : Sm 3100+ | 1Gb PC3200 | K8N-E Deluxe | 9800 Pro | 4 x 250Gb Maxline III (RAID10) | DVDRW | CDRW | Tagan 530W Easycon | ATC-201B-BXT Black Widow 4 : XP 2600+ | 0.75Gb PC2700 | K7NF2 RAID | 6600GT | 160Gb + 120Gb | DVD | 350W | Centurion | W : Dell Precision 690 | Intel X5355 | 4Gb FBDIMM | Quadro FX3450 | 2x 146Gb 15k SAS (RAID1) | DVDRW | DVD | 2x 2007FP
