    Found Headphone's with Mics

Well..its been a long search, but her goes...

Altec Lansing make them they are pretty good in the field of audio...good car stuff, good PC stuff.

    Here:
    AHS202

These are £14.10 inc Vat, plus delivery.

    --------------------------------------------

    AHS502

These are also £14.10 inc Vat, plus delivery...

from what I can make out...the top ones are smaller driver speakers.

    Might be good to try...

Hmmm they are rather nice, have a set of altec lansing 2.1 speakers and they are great. Build quality is very good. Might be tempted with those.
Just done a quick google, the 502's range in price from £14.10 to £25. Microdirst appear to be doing them for £16.45 inc delivery.

    ouch ouch ouch
Nice price!! it cost me nearly double just to replace the cushion skins.
But Audio is my profession and i use my studio Beyerdynamic DT150 for gaming
Then i got a microphone from Poundland Shop that cliped on near perfectly to the side of the headphones.

Can you tell me (because i really shouldn't be abusing these headphones to much) how good is the directional sound on those? With a bit of twiking i can hear the difference between a La5 and a ME109 (just), i can hear very clearly when i sit in a cobra that my engine is warming my back up. It is also very clear to follow engine sounds when in clouds (as long as you lower your prop pitch). i can hear a plane on my six a good few seconds before its in position to open fire. Not that it helps as i suck in defensive manouvers.
Right....stop talking about sound Kras...your boring everyone.

Kras mate. not onlyt is you knowing sound GOOD, but it means you can pop into our Hexus Audio and Visual Arena and dig me outta the carp when I mess up

When they arrive..shall tell you what they're like

Rias uses my HD570 Senns, which are so good TiG got some a while ago...but the lack of mic is irritating and I;ve tried whacking a boom mic to them...not happening

.. have a feeling my mate bought the top pair of headphones, and the bits that cover your ears.. well they seem to be made for 5yr olds, they are far too small! so seeing as the 2nd pair is the same price, its prolly worth getting them instead

    They look so cool.
All I need now is a copy of IL2 (Which version is best?) and a working joystick.
So where can I get IL2 do you know?

"If you don't have an anti-static wrist strap you can discharge your self by touching the metal edges of your ATX case, although this is not recommended."

    Building a PC!
    Components So Far:
    XFX Geforce MX 4000 128mb
"SumEvision" (Who the hell are they) Multi channel PCI Sound card.
Standard 56K Modem that I'll probably never use.
Case with a bit missing but it's only superficial.
(God this PC is turning into a joke. )

You can ge IL2 from any PC games shop... Game, PC World etc... I know from your other posts that you can't buy online easily..

If you want to fly online, against others, which is a HUGE part of the fun in this game, you MUST get IL2:Forgotten Battles and the Aces Expansion Pack.... all the regular flyers use this version. You might see the original IL2 going cheap, and its a great game, but not very many people fly it online....

Once you've got Forgotten Battles and the Aces pack, you'll need to patch it to the latest version... the first patch (2.01) is pretty big, so I hope you've got broadband!

If not, drop me a PM and I'll send you the patch on disk.
