    Lag...I'll give YOU blummin lag...

lyesterday evening, I was in a VWF with Tumble TiG and Moby, when David came round to chat....

I got side tracked, answering the door and stuff, and basic fact is I was bounced by a lone 109 out hunting.

    Fair play to him...

but everytime I looked over my shoulder to see him and we whirled about he was missing by miles....

then he hit me on a good pass and shuddered my Spit but no damage..

then I remembered I was carrying a metric ton of BOMBS so I dumped them in the CHannel and we turned some more....

then I died...he shot past my left shoulder by 1/4 mile and I lost my plane

    Lag...I'll give YOU lag

Dont mind at ALL when I get killed by a proper kill..happen a lot less recently but it does happen..but I HATE feeling robbed

    ROBBED

    BETTER NEVER STOPS

Netcode matey, what you are describing is exactly that, assume that person has a ping of .4 of a second, and you had a ping of .05 of a second (400 vs 50) - those .35 of a second difference could well equate to the difference between how you saw it and how he saw it. I bet you if you had a track of how he saw it he'd be right behind you wasting you with direct hits.

I'm sure maybe Clingy and some more of the CS type gamers will be able to highlight how annoying this can be.

Simple fact is how do you get round it?, well some servers bad slow pingers for this exact reason, because they can get "lag" kills - i personally don't like the term but thats exactly what you are describing...

nope - starts off a bit Kulashaker-ish, goes slight Pink Floyd, then does its own rock thing. My guess is it must be a early eighties track.

Lag in CS is the biatch.

U learn to deal with it over time.

Some people make themselves laggy so its harder to hit them.
