    Hmm, decision time, eh?

So when PF is released, what are we all going to do?

Are we going for a separate install or go for the "over the top of FB+AEP" option?

    OR

    Do we do both?

Personally, I dont fancy TWO installs of essentially the same game on my drive, and I reckon that most people who'll be buying this will already have FB+AEP and be installing over that....

I can see why they're not compatible etc etc, but I don't really think we need to bother with anything else other than an over the top install....

Of course, that doea mean that if all the Marlins want to fly with each other, we'll all HAVE to get PF as a mix of FB+AEP wont run with PF standalone or FB+AEP+PF....

(Jeez, how many MORE titles are we gonna have to mix when talking about how up to date we are... of course, there'll be a PF add-on pack called 'Battle of Midway' or something... then there's 'The Battle of Britain' and its add-on pack 'Luftwaffe over Britain'...

    sooooo.....

We'll all be playing FBAEPPFBOMBOBLOB...... gonna sound like one of the flowerpot men when I talk about it.....)

id agree most ppl will be using it as an addon. why force urself not to have some of the planes ? so unless theres some good reason addon all the way

think it will come down to what the online campains want to use. if they say PF only...cant think why they would say that when u can limit the plane set tho.

It can be either. But you miss out on a shedload of planes (P-38 etc) if you don't install it as an add-on over FB+AEP.

I guess there's nothing to stop you installing it twice, as an add-on and as a stand-alone - but it seems a bit pointless to do that IMHO.

Menthel, you get them all if you install over AEP, but then you cant play online with anyone who just has PF... so install over gives you more planes than standalone.

lol, but you get the planes if you install over FBAEP... you dont get anymore for installing standalone as well.

An install over will give you all the current FBAEP planes AS WELL as the PF planes.

A standalone will just give you the PF planes.

I'm looking forward to trying to get a TB3 off a carrier in the full mission builder...

WHat Clingy said is probably the best thing to do so as you can still play on all the different servers. However i'm just gonna go with FB+AEP+PF and play the ones I can play.
