Is there a keyboard template for il2

I have recently purchased il2 but i am finding it hard to remember all the keys i need to use in the game and i cannot setup my joystick throttle control correctly either.

Joystick Throttle....how can it be wrong?

Maybe go into Control Panel (in XP) and calibrate it.

In terms of using the keys......dont think ANYONE knows all the keys kid you not, there are millions

So use the most popular one first, then build up to using more and more....

F and V for flaps up and down
G for gear up and down
F keys for views on external and internal

Then assign a few that you like to the joystick.....set the hat switch to look where you want it to look

Then fly.....and see what you would NEXT use the most.....etc etc..

takes most people a few weeks to set it up right

I have seen some templates that other people have done....

but dont forget ... nearly all the keys are configurable, so it would be best to get a blank template from somewhere and then write on it yourself which is which.

.. and are we talking IL2 or FB here?

Have you checked on the CD to see if there is a template in .pdf or similar?

Whilst, FB started out as an addon it grew into a standalone game.
Now there are 2 addons due out for FB early next year - 1 foc & 1 payware.
