Connecting to the [GSV] Dedicated server through the Hyperlobby....

Just in case any of you are still miffed as to how to connect - I will now show you.

First off, you need 3 bits of software:

    Hyperlobby

    FBserver

    Ubisoft online gaming thingy

You should already have HL, and the Ubisoft stuff is on the FB disks. You do not ever have to run the Ubi software - just install, and forget. Then follow these steps.....

Unzip the FBserver file into your FB folder....

Then, rename the il2fb.exe to something else, say il2fb_1.exe, and call the FBserver.exe il2fb.exe - as shown here - the green ring used to be fbserver..

After you done that - open the FBserver program. Next, select preferences from the options menu

now you can tell the FBserver whee to look for your il2fb executable - hit the "locate" button on the bottom box (see pic) and browse for your il2fb executable... It should look like this (but without the silly cross and circle on it )

Now it is setup and you don't need to do anything else to it - just join from HL as normal - doesn't have to be a dedicated server, can be any type of game - just connect and away it will go.

    GL & HF.
