    Flying Last night

S! guys, I really enjoyed the game on line last night, it was a welcome relief to the other stuff going on last night.

Can I just say that i'm chuffed that the Russians took the loss so well especially after how close they got to winning the whole thing. Think we had 5 pilots left in the end

Bomber command is definitely the place for me to be i think, that bridge bombing was superb fun, and a VERY big thanks to Zak33 for the shared connection last night, and for being a superb mate in general.

Hope to see you marlins in the air a bit more frequently if i get to adsl more often...

My 56k bt connection is just to unstable for me to enjoy fb online.

    Thanks
    TiG

Was good fun. Best moment for me was probably flying around in the LaGG and having some guy in a 109 all over me. Couldn't shake him and in the middle of a dive I stalled at high speed pulling out...

..luckily for me I was over a river and I hit the water and it didn't any damage.

The 109 however wasn't so lucky and so piled into the deck and didn't carry on flying. STFD German scummer.

On the downsides, people need to have a look at the scoreboard before flying. At many points the teams were mega uneven. Even worse than CS for joining the winning side.

Yeah, I agree, I looked at the scoreboard and there was me, TiG, Zak and Bob... then 8 or 9 reds...

That said, some people did switch sides after crashing/landing.

Is there anyway to look at the scoreboard before hitting fly tho?

Same question as Deckard...HOW doyou see thre Score Board before flying ,upon joining a new game.

Cos I haveto get in a plane, hit Fly.....end up on runway...then check scores and realise on wrong team, kill self (no worries, thousands of ways todo that ) and that loses a plane and pilot for the team in question

Didn't show last night at all....not until I was in game.

It simply showed the colour of the bases....its only cos I had seen hper lobby that I knew anyone was in game.

ONCE Iwas in the game, it then showed on the next flight, when I had a chance to click a diff base...but upto that point, it had no numbers on the bases

Tell ya what else was quite cool......the icon distances were all set diff to normal. I could see WHAT plane it was first, at the longest range....but the Icon was in BLACK text...THEN it changed to the correct colour of the team....

For me that made stuff EASIER without being childishly simple

Who's idea was THAT ? It rocked

Yeah, the difficulty is at a high enough level, but it ensures that dogfights will occur.

I've flown several missions with Hat and we've had maybe one furball mainly cos on max difficulty you can't spot the buggers and even if you do you've gotta get up close and personal to check out what they are.

With the map and ID tags on at least you know roughly where to point your nose to get a bit of fun going on.

That setup last night was how i liked it, I hate playing dogfights with no point apart from trying to kill as A) i suck at killing people in dogfight's but b) its more enjoyable to snatch the win at the last second when it looks like you've got no chance
