    Joystick Performance

While bored on Saturday afternoon i decided to make some more use of my joystick, and after a couple of hours bouncing bombers i decided it would be good for a change, and i decided on playing mechwarrior 4 mercenaries, I couldn't use my old joystick to play the game as i just couldn't control it well enough. Bearing in mind i've been playing this game a while using mouse as targeting i didn't expect my new joystick to come even close.

    HOW wrong i was..

Sadly that was the bad part of it, i was enjoying using the joystick so much that i carried on, damn well completed half the game on Veteran difficulty level.

Its so nice to pilot a mech with, tho the buttons at the back of the stick seem to be impossible to get to while in a furball.

Just another reason why a few quid invested in a nice joystick is well worth it, (especially if its free, thanks again Zak)

Oh man, I love Mechs, I used to play the role playing game so i'm addicted to the series

    Got Mech 2, mech2 mercs
mech 3, mech 3 mercs (pirates moon)
mech 4, and merc 4 mercs
Also got mechcommander 1 and 2

so i'd say yes to getting it but as you can see i'm a bit fanatical about the fasa series

I also understand the history and relevance of the development of weapons etc. But the new one has solaris VII in it, game arena 6 mechs enter 1 mech leaves, in the heats, in the final its 16 mechs enter 1 leaves. IT gets intense at this point
