    Flight School Night?

    Is it tonight?

    Monday...cos I intend to be airborn 9-11:30.

If people want me to help with the Noobs, maybe get mefloating round with trails on and playing easy target.....no trouble.

Maybe with voice comms for us regualrs, then any of the Schoolies can be typed too by Clingy or Dak or Hat...while telliing me where to turn.
Then the teacher can go external on the student and watch them while telling me WHERE to go...

    might work.

Am happy to put back into this excellent commnunity

Would like a lesson myself too tonight if anyone is free. Dak would be prime choice, cos I would like to buddy up with him, but also Skii or Hat or Trig for a variation if possible.

    Anyone interested.....

Cheers fellow Marlins....its good to be team members.

PS: Dont fret if ya all busy.....wont be hurt or cry

Seen as you dont seem to play the original, what is it that I need to buy to play and where is the cheapest place to get it? (I only have IL2 Strumovik).

Try Play.com or go into your local Game shop, Think you can pick it up for about £20. il2 FB is not a upgrade to IL2 - its a completely new game.

God damnit. I bought IL2 almost specifically to play on here and it turns out I have entirely the wrong game. How useful.

not entirely... it's given you an idea of what to expect.... FB just has slightly more complicated engine management options, and a more refined graphics engine. IL2 is fine to cut your teeth on and learn the basics....

Looks like I'm going that way too m8. Played a couple of the "FUN" maps on CS at the weekend and got totally bored.

I think Monday and Thursdays were the provisional nights, although I haven't got the server ready yet. What we need is someone to build a nice n00b friendly map with large concrete runways and a selection forgiving aircraft ( so thats IL2's all round then ). I'll password the server tonight (password = swordfish).

Only fly in the ointment is that all 4U servers will be down from 12-4 for switch upgrades, so lets hope that goes to plan.
