Tough netbooks?

Is there a net book which is the g-shock watch of the portable world?

I just need one for use outdoors work, if not could anyone make me a recommendation of a normal one, I seem to remember the Samsung NC10 being good a few years ago...

Basically need it to run mapping software for car ECUs, music, to watch films on when I have to go on business trips and good sound would be a bonus to link up to the stereo in the garage.

However,it is not very poweful although it runs fine with Puppy Linux.

You can get a HP netbook. It is in their business range which has aluminum lid and mag alloy casing. But it's expensive.
