Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV o_o what an utterly, utterly, utterly retarded campaign *genuine* borderlessness might be interesting for me, if they did it in a 42" model

Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV I'd be concerned that it would unravel without anything to keep hold of the edges. And that really is a capital-punishment-deserving piece of marketing bullsh1t speak, as noted above. My HTPC: Linky

Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV I love the idea of a borderless tv, as in the screen goes all the way to the edge... but apparently this doesn't so it isn't a borderless tv.

Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV TBH, I don't think true borderless would really work, because a bezel helps to frame the image and create a divide between the picture and the setting of the TV.

Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV Look, they've cleared this issue up, OK? It clearly IS borderless because it gives you infinite freedom. My HTPC: Linky

Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV A real borderless TV might be nice but I expect one with a small unobtrusive border would be best - otherwise it might be hard to concentrate on the picture the display gives you with out suddenly realising that part of what you think is the scenery is actually your wallpaper!

Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV I've love a couple of border-less TVs for ultra widescreen dual monitor viewing. Talking of which why can't someone make a borderless monitor while they're at it?

| Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV I'm assuming the point is that the screen is flush with the "border", so it's just one big flat panel. As said previously though, if the picture doesn't go to the edge, it isn't borderless. Snore.
