Which companies would you like an insight on?

We are looking at bringing you the 'deep and dirty' on the companies which you buy products from and the people who make the products.

Please let us know who you would like us to chat to for you (and if there are any general questions about them you would like to know the answers to.)

I'd like to know more about Aria. They are one of my favourite online companies I buy from, if not the favourite.

:edit: Oh, and any 'dirt' you can get on Micro$oft would be great! Would be intersting to know what Billy does with all his gazillions...

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

ASUS They make almost everything, most often at a fair/competitive price and have managed to really keep there hands clean of most of the drama that you can read about on any given tech industry new site. They’re a name known industry wide. They’re branching out into new fields (what maybe new on they’re horizon?) and growing as far as I can tell (and some quick stock figures). I’d really like to know what kind of market they see in PCI-e, they seem to be supportive with the release of they newest board. Do they plan on making a jump to pure PCI-e like with maybe none SLi model of they’re A8N-SLi deluxe.
"..one out of every 5 desktop PCs sold last year is based on ASUS motherboards.."- That’s a lot, no? Correct me if my overall assumptions have been wrong thus far about them (ASUS). I’m sure there are numerous other companies that may be better options, but I for one would like to see past their PR into the company.

I’m not sure if this is even a viable option, but one can hope right?
My point, interview someone in the gaming industry, I haven’t read enough articles about such.

(wow, long post.. wow.. sorry, it's 3:30AM)

I'd like to know more about OcUK. For all the bad reasons I won't mention to save this thread from another OcUK bashing argument.

I'd love to understand more about the structure of Intel. Use hardware telephony cards from the intel Dialogic board range, use Envox software (which from what i understand intel now has a major investment in)

Probably not a huge justification as its quite specialist, but i'd like to understand what else they have in terms of influence and products?

Grab an up and coming, cutting edge yet reasonably mature ISP.

Would be interested to hear their views on the state of the industry, future developments, consolidation, technical issues etc

Having worked for them, I'd like so see more from Sun, some of the developments they have going on in the background / secrect are well worth publicising more than they do.

I'd like more of an insite into nvidia and ATI as the leading GFX makers

The OSD labs would be an interesting company to see how it runs and what they do

    It is Inevitable.....

I'd like an insight into Nintendo/Sega etc. I remember a sega spot on television once in the early 90's and they had children playing beta versions of Sonic 3 and it looked so cool

Acer. Sold the most laptops by volume in Europe in 2004, yet nobody seems to have heard of them. How do they make them so cheap?

They are everywhere....seriously? everyone know acer...ok maybe not as huge as dell, but still. I would expect >70% of this forums members to know about them.
