    Tracking Problems with M65?

So I recently bought an M65 of amazon,

When I started using, I noticed that it seemed to track weirdly, in that most of the time, the mouse pointer would be working fine, and then the mouse pointer would stop suddenly, or slow down, or only go in one direction, (i.e, if I was moving diagonally, it would only move in the x direction).

The surface I'm on is a desk with a leather "overlay" (I'd guess you'd call it?), it's old, and has quite a few stains on it, but my old Logitech B110 laser mouse worked fine.

All of the other buttons on the mouse work fine, and I downloaded the utility thing from corsair, and fiddled around, as well as updating the firmware.

So, do I have a faulty mouse, or is my surface really just that awful, because at the moment, the mouse is just unusable.

It might seem quite dumb of me asking but have you put a mouse pad or a piece of paper under the mouse to try out? If you have, then disconnect all other devices from your computer except for your keyboard and mouse (and monitor obviously) and try. If that didn't work... if the old Logitech B110 had any drivers for the computer that you installed, uninstall that and reinstall the firmware from Corsair. You may also want to clean the bottom of the mouse as well just in case. If after all that is done, then you definitely have a faulty mouse.
