    Chicken Liver tips&tricks

    Hi guys,

    is there any liver lover out there? Care to share their favourite recipe?

    I am a bit fed up with the classic (at least at my country) combination of duck fat, onions and livers. You just fry the onions and sautee the livers. Yum, but gets old quickly!

    Chicken liver pate has always been a Xmas favourite.

    My mum makes it so can't help with a recipe I'm afraid.

    Only time I ever enjoyed liver dishes (pates notwithstanding), they always featured copious amounts of bacon.

    My parents got liver one day and when she tried to cook it, the smell was horrible. To this day, I still feel like throwing up whenever i get a whiff of that stench

    To this day the one thing I miss about being a vegetarian is nothing to do with bacon. The thought of liver in onion gravy (either calf or lamb liver, I don't recall ever having eaten chicken liver) gets me salivating to this day.
