Why the sudden drinking of green tea Lissa? Bored with coffee
I think we need some more detailed instructions. How do you make this so called "boiling water".
I heard that it is good for reducing fat. I hadn't tried it yet.
Heh, it's one of the classic examples used to teach people problem-framing. You get someone to tell you how to make a cup of tea, then you do exactly and only what they tell you to. It's very rare that you end up with drinkable tea after the first attempt
I'm more of a white tea person myself; lighter and more refreshing.
The ingredients for green tea are: green tea; water. Anthing else and you're just messing
Water needs to be around 80 degrees Celsius for optimum brewing. Otherwise boiled water straight from the kettle will cause a bitter tasting tea. There are a number of kettles on the market which allows you to pre-select boiling temperature.
I'm a redbush tea drinker as it has no caffeine unlike green and white tea. Has more flavour too.
I too am a white tea drinker. More fun.

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)
Working out how many carbs you eat per day, and then reducing it to about 140 - 150 grams works for fat loss.
And specifically removing any carbs from your meals which convert quickly to sugars inside the body, white bread, white rice, etc, there are lists online.
Most peoples needed cards per day is different, it might be 90 or 160, depending on height and activity level. But, you'll definitely feel it when you go to low [lethargic/low mood] and when you find the right amount for you you're weight should reduce then stay at a healthy level.
P.s. Carbs are just 1 factor, but they're a good place to start. Also the nutritarian diet is good
I read you can lose 11 pounds of body fat by drinking three cups of green tea per day and that can burn 106 calories per day. Best way to drink Green tea, is let the water be hot but not boiling and leaving the Tea bag in for at least 2mins.
All green teas are not equal.
While personal preference obviously can hold sway here, most cheap green teas are a vastly different experience/flavour, than even a mid-range or slightly more expensive (but still cheap) tea. Now, I have put my helmet on here because a green-tea connoisseur might try to head-shot me, but while premium, very expensive green teas are something special, I've been very happy with a cheaper, less 'elite' form. I'd love to have the budget to drink top-notch green tea in high volume, but I just don't.
This is my go-to brand of green tea tea-bags - Ito-En Kirkland (Amazon Link) 100 Bags for £14.99 (although I get my sent over from the USA in care packages from my family there). It's obviously a lot more expensive than normal British tea bags, but for me there's no comparison and it's worth it.
I first discovered the Ito-En brand in bottled form, but that's even more expensive so I don't get drink it often - it's some I treat myself too whenever passing through an airport or train station in the UK which often have it available. Lovely stuff!
They also sell other types of green tea items, but I've not tried any beyond the two above.
I've tried a good number of green tea bag brands and this one stands out as my clear favourite. I really enjoy it. There's a lot of cheap Chinese green tea (might not even be Chinese) which is stronger and more bitter no matter what you do with it. And then English brands etc. I've not found I enjoyed much. I suspect quality might matter more for green tea because it's the least treated type of tea. No proof that that's the reason, but I've definitely found that quality matters.
As for preparation, it's true that you can get noticeably different results depending upon how you brew it - the whole don't pour in boiling water thing is true. Also, don't leave the bag to stand indefinitely. Both of those can result in a more bitter taste. A bit of experimentation should be all you need. Also, if you're going to end up drinking it in volume, then best to enjoy it, right? So try it in a few different cup types. I've found that a ceramic cup works best, but maybe that's some sort of placebo-type effect.
Oh, and this might seem odd, but cold green tea can be really nice in warm weather. My wife and I tend to get six tea bags, brew them in a teapot with enough for about 2-3 cups and then pour that into a jug and top it up with water. If it looks a little weak (we haven't bothered measuring it yet), I just throw the tea bags in for a bit more. Then scoop them out, and chill the jug. Different way to enjoy tea when I don't want a hot drink.
Right, I'll leave it there for now.

I would definitely have to try a few recipes myself. I love green tea but my love for the store bought iced green tea cans are washing away.
