those sandwiches look repulsive lol n/o.

firstly, butter on both sides of the bread = instant death
and then that cheese looks as if its about 2 microns thick.

The key to a good sandwich is to have it overclowing with fillings. Try cheese and cucumber. Use a mild cheddar, so you can cut big chunks and then big thick chunks of cucumber.

If you like mayonaise you can add some of that too

    or ham...

BBQ Sauce is also a good alternative.

I had to have marmite in my sandwichs today, possible the worst sandwhich filling in the world ever!

Best thing to do is experiment with the cheeses and fillings as another person's " ooooooh " is another person "urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh"

IF you peckish at home, play about making sandwiches with varying thickness of cheese - I find about 6-7 mm thickness slices to be the best for my sandwiches but again YMMV depending on personal preference.

Next up - is the additional food items usually used to make things tastier. Branson Pickle is a good recommendation - either thick, medium or smooth is available. Salad is another good one as you can throw nearly everything on such as Lettuce, onions, spring onions gerkins ( YAY!! ) and then add a bit of salad cream if you like things like that.

It's really all about experimenting and being creative. That's how I found my food of choice which is mature cheddar with Piccallili - yes that glowing luminous stuff

Of course it will Cheese and Bacon go together like double Port and a bottle of blue WKD.

Sounds a bit bizarre - but tastes great

Thats the third time in a week i've heard of this. Had a taste last friday night. tastes like Vimto

    Back to the sandwiches.

I go for pitta with humous (instead of mayo), olives, sun dried or sun blush tomatoes and loads of muxed salad (usually with rocket).

You can obviously add some meat to that if you like, cured italian hams are good. I like the smooth humous you get in some supermarkets now, the one with whole chick peas and some oil on the top. adding extra whole chick pees gives it some extra crunch.

    yum!

PS: Lee, try Archers, Ribena (same amount you would make juice with) and coke. should taste rubbish, but really isn't that bad

LOL your mum is trying to teach you something I think

Being veggie I love the old mozzerella sandwhiches - drizzle some e.v. olive oil on the bread, use fresh buffalo mozzerella slices, basil leaves and sundried tomatoes - toasted pine nuts also go well.
