In terms of productivity, Win Mobile > Everything else, of course this comes down to a matter of opinion, as always.

iPhone doesn’t come close to the Touch Diamond 2 or the Xperia X1 in terms of productivity, yes we all know the iPhone beats everything else in terms of sales and newspaper column inches, and it has a lot of gimmicky apps to please its customers for about 5 minutes, but for people who actually work from their mobile phones, its useless.

Android has yet to mature, but straight away we know the HTC Hero has no Keyboard, so it’s not for productivity, so because of that, I’m out.

(Also I have very large fingers and cant type on touchscreen keyboards, this may or may not be the reason I am looking forward to the Palm Pre)

So's any Windows Mobile handset, with the notable difference that the WinMo solution'll be more functional than either as well as cheaper than the Apple tat. Also, Expansys? Hardly the most competitive supplier of mobile devices. Prefer Handtec myself.

It's an Android handset, not a Windows Mobile handset.

Hence my noting its lack of ActiveSync. My point was that any WinMo handset is also a bargain and has got ActiveSync ("...the notable difference that the WinMo solution'll be more functional than either...") - italics added for clarity.

OK, I'm glad you like IMAP, but it's the castrated version of ActiveSync. Nice to here the Hero's a good phone - if it had Active Sync I'd probably be raiding my piggy bank for it. I know there're third-party solutions, but they're either VERY beta or costly.

i personally don't give a **** about activSyn and neither some people. So besides activeSync and IMAP what else you wanna bash this phone on?
