If Orange said it was limited to 750mb a month, then they can charge for going over it... i think
Source? The Orange website clearly states 750mb fair usage limit, nothing about 'monitoring' and although it shows no extra charges that can easily just be their standard data rates thereafter.

I think they'll have to raise that limit for a lot of possible buyers to take it seriously. Their only strength is the 3G coverage and that only means you'll eat up 750mb even faster! O2 will, I'm sure, be touting their unlimited policy when the battle commences.

have a look at the terms and conditions page:

Mobile Internet browsing does not include event charges such as for ringtones or games (transport costs for these events are included). Fair Usage policy of 750MB applies. Usage above this amount will constitute abuse and Orange may monitor usage, apply Network protection controls which may result in reduced speed of transmission and/or withdraw the Offer from your account if the fair usage policy is abused.
plus im mostly going to be using the wifi for data from home/work, so i hope not to really need 750mb+ on the road... not every month anyways
