    I've been keeping an eye on Linus' Gnome 3 experiences, and it pretty much mirrors his gripes with KDE4 and that great upheaval as well.

    Gnome 3 was stupid from the very beginning. Poettering and Co. are behind the whole faildesktop.org mess (HAL, systemd, pulseaudio, avahi, etc) as well Gnome 3.

    gnome3 really disappointed me. Will use xfce or even fvwm from now on.
