    RealVNC Equivalent for Mac OSX

Can someone suggest a real-vnc type application for Mac OS X ?

I need to control my mac from my WinXP laptop.

    Thanks.

Just got my router on the www.dyndns.org thingy.

So now I can enter my dyndns details and get my IP address.

But right now, it goes to my router setup instead of letting me get onto my mac. Even though I have setup the mac as a DMZ server.

Any suggestions on how to get it to point to the mac instead of the router would help.

Edit - If I log in using the dyndns address from within my network, I get the router admin, but use a separate internet IP and it lets me get to the mac. Now just need an app.

Thanks mate. I had never seen google before. Has it been around long ?

There are a lot of results, some only allowing mac to mac control, others which are not being developed any more and others which are paid.

I still have not found one for free which allows me to control my mac from my xp laptop.

A VNC server is a VNC server as far as I was aware... And you'd be surprised how many people don't look at Google. From the first hit

"Vine Server(OSXvnc) is a robust, full-featured VNC server for MacOS X. It allows any VNC client to remotely view or control the machine. It is provided by Redstone Software, for use with Vine Viewer and Eggplant for cross-platform testing and automation."

That says to me that you can use ANY VNC client (say, WinVNC client) to remotely view or control the machine. ANY.

Thanks. Didnt realise you could use other VNC programs to connect to the server.

I will install it and have a go.
