You just can't get the staff nowadays...

Ladies and gents, let me first start off this blog entry of wonder and amazement with exhibit A:

The above was a true masterpiece, a HEXUS staff member using his very own gaming forums in order to cash in or the demand for a Nintendo DS. It seems this very staff member has the ability of rule abiding of a knat on speed, not only was the sale posted in the gaming forum, there was no price and if that wasn't enough, it wasn't even his.

Now the rules are very clear, and flouting them gets the wrath of the mods of said classifieds forum. Problem is, this was a HEXUS staff member, a member who has a penchant for purple coloured things and hair maintainence equipment, and therefore it needed someone to deal with it from a staff perspective.

The appropriate peed off message from David Ross slipped into my MSN window like a duck on ice and the case against Steven began. In all honesty, I was going to give excerpts from it, but it was just too funny to leave bits out, so apart from some inappropriate language I pixelated out I present the offical Steven Smackdown as administed by moi.

I think you will all agree that the complete failing of any rule abiding , could and should result in a public flogging, I do beleive this has been given and I can only apologise to all those members who understand the rules (thats reading Steven) and abide by them so appropriately.

I expect the lines on my desk by 1pm Steven, you know what you gotta do.....

    Sometimes a little aint enough...

oh and for those who don't get the purple bag and hair straighteners, CeBit saw the appearance of the biggest purple bag I have ever seen and a small tantrum when he needed to use his straightners and hairdryer before he could be seen in public, something that a) he will never live down and b) he will never tell anyone ever again I suspect...

    TTISWV ( that's without Video!)

Pffft - technology reviewers and not 1 of you records comedy footage of things like this. I use my phone all the time for recording moments that need to be relived for the major humilation of others. The shoe was on the other foot (pun intended), the other week when I broke my toe on a bouncy castle

Stocks may be our only alternative, I would have suggested electric current to the nipples, but given that he willingly offered to be a gimp for the day I fear he may enjoy the whole nipple thing too much....

I don't remember the tantrum bit..plus the 'real' story is this : I mentioned that I used to use hair straightners when I had long hair but not now as it is short. Unfortunately now the hair straightner comment will live with me for a long time - the swines!
