Both are good, go with whichever works with your CPU & Mobo.

dads just bought the top set, works very well. my sisters got some aswell.

it all depends on what clearance your cooler has got.

fyi the lp set only just by 1mm fits underneath an AC freezer13 on an FM1 board.

I would go with the vengeance as it is a slightly lower voltage.

I have the Dominator. Runs happily all day at 1600mhz. Plus it looks awesome in my PC!

    Re: Best RAM for £30?

The Vengeance low profile are recommended if your using either a Z68 or Z77 based motherboard and using a larger aftermarket CPU cooler to cool the CPU.

If you opted for the dominator, the additional fins on the RAM could possibly foul the cooler and make fitting it a struggle.

    Re: Best RAM for £30?

I was considering the Dominator because of the performance/price ratio, but I read that they undervolt on a z77 due to the ram voltage being set to 1.5? This doesn't bode well for the Kingston Hyper-X sticks as well. Going to go for the Vengeance, cheers for the input

My brother has Kingston Hyper-X and z77 mobo and its shows 1.5V, but u can easily change that in BIOS.

Update: The Corsair Vengence LP Arctic White 1.35v came up on sale for 28 quid, absolute bargain. Very happy with them and they just sneak under my Hyper Evo 212+

    Re: Best RAM for £30?

I would go for corsair vengeance regular or low profile 1600mhz 1.5v ram. Tbh with ram you cant go that wrong normally the inside of it is the same for a lot, so get whatever is cheapest, its all quality.
