    overclock corsair Vengeance 1600

Hi Guys.. Iv a i7 930 @ 4.2 on 2.5 volts and with prime95 getting a max temp of 74.. so im happy with that!!.. instead of overclocking the memory (corsair Vengeance 1600 triple) id rather tighten the timings.. but not a clue how to go about it.. my board is a asus px58d-e if that helps.. as anyone got any settings I can try?? cheers

Well you go into the BIOS and type in tighter timings Your motherboard manual should have the BIOS instructions to tell you what does what. There should be a way of seeing the existing timings as well.

If you really want to get into it, have a read up of this article:

You can use CPU-Z for a quick memory speed and timing confirmation.
As for manual timing settings, your mobos manual says you can find it at Ai Tweeker > DRAM timings.
