    Crucial RAM part numbers question

I currently have two Crucial rm25664ba13398FR onboard, but would like a matching pair to fill out the 4 slots. Closest i can find on ebay is rm25664ba13398FD. Anyone know if this is the same (i.e. with the R and D different at the end)?

Background is I just ripped a non-matching pair out as it seems to reduce the number of BSODs I get, even though all mem diagnostics say the RAM is fine.

Re: Crucial RAM part numbers question

I would say you are safe to use them.

About the BSoD, do you get many right now,or if you click Task Manager>Resources,do you see many hard errors? If concerned, maybe an ECC capable machine would be something for you (server grade Atom or Xeon, or any AMD but APUs.I think).

Just a comparison. My home server runs a 4GB module at 1.25V @ 1333Mhz with 8-8-8-24 timings. And it was certified for 1.5V @ 1333Mhz with 9-9-9-28 timings. What I want to say is that since then it runs happily for months with no actual crashes (no restarts between).
