    Weird memory speed

    Hi all,

ive having a weird issue with my memory. Is DDR3 1333MHz but in bios is showing up as DDR3 1560. Does anyone have any ideas how to set it back? When i go to manual on the freq 1333mhz isnt listed at all. My CPU is overclocked, would this have any efffect on my ram? 2 of the 4 sticks are passing 4-5+ passes on memtest86 at 1560 but the other 2 sticks are getting errors.

Figured out what was causing it. When I increased the baseclock, it would increase the RAM freq too. Anyway I can prevent this?

Don't increase the base clock. Or if you do, drop the memory multiplier down.

    Re: Weird memory speed

I can't find an option for the memory multiplier in bios. Just the stuff to OC the CPU and voltages.

Motherboard is an Asrock P55M Pro.
