    xbox wireless receiver for Windows

    Hiya guys

Now, my Xbox360 and my PC are near(ish) to each other. So I plug the wireless receiver into my PC (Vista), right? I turn on my original wireless gamepad to connect it to the receiver and...my Xbox powers up and connect to the gamepad. Argh. So I turn the console off, as I don't need that, and the damn gamepad turns off too! Argh X2! Any help here?

    Dale

thats quite funny, somebody else has having same problem. does the wireless receiver and the controller need to be close when its turned on? if not, just stand far enough away from your xbox so it dont turn on... maybe

Turn on the xbox, then press the tune button on the wireless receiver. Then press the tune button on the pad and then turn the xbox off. Works for me anyway.

Hmmm easy, press+hold tune button on wireless receiver, turn on controller and press+hold wireless tune button, then turn 360 off simple.
