Correct me if I'm wrong but the red tape involved with a re-release of Goldeneye would be immense, the game was originally published by Nintendo, the film franchise rights have changed hands and are now with Sony iirc not MGM, the game franchise rights are now with Activison, character likeness's would have to be re-approved and Rare has since split into two pieces with the majority of the Goldeneye team forming Free Radical if I remember rightly.
All those companies, all that red tape, for an XBLA game? I don't see it happening personally... |

I've read in a few places that Microsoft and Nintendo can't reach some sort of agreement so it has been pulled indefinately. Shame really as Microsoft now own Rare and Goldeneye was a very influential game for its time and console shooters.

or like hattons winning streak - you take it to another level (this case being online) and you realise that on a global scale your chances are drasically reduced.
but i cant comment on peoples skills on games i havent played them against so best of luck such a smart move on Xbox to grab and revamp this title tbh |
