PES 2008 - Not quite right

There are some very odd things in PES 2008.

Turning the difficulty up just makes your players slower, more stuipd and have worse control.

No matter what player it is the CPU defender will be faster then you.

Every rebound, no matter what, will go to the CPU player

there are never any 50/50 balls, the CPU player will always get to it just before you do.

The ref will give very few free kicks to you but will give some really strange ones to the CPU player. I had one where I was no where near the CPU player and I was given a yellow card!

    The offsides are just stupid.

    You can't take quick freekicks

If the keeper decide to run out of his area for a ball he will not always go back to the goal and will just stand and look at an open net

Balls will some times travel through the keeper's body

There are probably loads more. Anyone else have any other issues with PES 08?

PES 2008 couldnt have been a bigger balls up if they tried, i always got 4500ms ping online which makes the game completely unplayable. Seeing as i still think fifa 08 is rubbish (despite it being 1000000 times better than before) i was massively disappointed that pro 2008 was rubbish too.

My biggest annoyance is when a cpu player runs at your center backs they somtimes move out the way? Even with zonal marking selected. They also go AWOL on occasion. And defending and attacking corners massivly is in favour of the attackers.

But there's no alternative as i really hate fifa(and yes i have played it), and PES is still playable(for me anyway as i don't play online)

This is why I like to play FIFA 08 and I expect FIFA 09 over the new PES series.

I dunno why but FIFA feels a lot better than PES and even quite a few PES devotee's I know have played both FIFA and PES on my 360 and said FIFA feels better
