Gears of War 2 - Linked Achievements = WIN?
May be light spoilers.....
So you finished GoW? You got all of the achievements? Now you get rewarded for some of them! Did you finish Act1? yes? then in GoW2 you have a playable Anthony Carmine... Did you find 10 cog tags? yes? then in the next installment you have unlocked Minh Young Kim Did you finish off general Raam? you did? well then... you may be pleased to hear that you will have unlocked a playable version of him  Kotaku HERE |

Sounds good to me. The achievements system is already a great tool, but there's a lot more that could be done with it. Following the new dashboard implementation, we should start seeing some more uses.
Looking forward to seeing achievements unlock clothing for your avatars. I'd like a Forza 3 cap for mine!  |

i think this is a really good idea. its good to reward people that have invested time and money in the previous games

I can see what they are trying to do with this and I think it's a smart move and a good idea.
I wonder if they will do a bundle pack with the two games together then? |
