Oh my god how awesome!
I must admit, I'm looking forward to the release of Arma 2 and Op:F DR more now, the whole CoD formula is just seeming a little bit outdated. Though that's not to say I won't be getting it.
This is certainly a game I'll be buying (I loved CoD4), but I fear the level of hype has now got to such a point that it can only be a disappointment.
Im looking forward to Arma 2 also, but ive been reading that its a system breaker, see: crysis at launch.
Hopefully the singleplayer will be as good as the first one which was a suprise to me, after all IW had a basis for previous CoD games and the story was actually **** hot in MW. Theres a slight nagging feeling i keep getting though and its that how can they improve on MW multiplayer, if its just going to be new weapons & perks i cant really see it cutting the mustard and the already proposed map packs feel like a (known) stab in the back. The prospect of snow levels in multiplayer is epic though and takes me back to my Ghost Recon days on 'Bonfires', if any of you played it...
It looks so great, though I wish they would have removed some of the silly perks from online, but single player I cannot fault. I really like how they are removing the unlimited amounts of enemies this time round. It was fun sometimes, but it really put a downer on the hardest difficulty
Didn't want to open a new thread so figured I'd add it to this,
Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition details..
Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition Unboxing (Official)
Comes with Night Vision Goggles,
I've read alot of "Omg 1337" comments on other forums etc but seriously, how can anyone expect these to be of any useful quality?
"Prestige Edition suggested retail is $149."
I'm not a huge fan of special editions so I'll pass on this myself.
Night vision goggles?!
I mean, while the special edition itself looks good, I think very few people have a need for a cheap pair of NVG's. Especially for the premium that they will add to the price.
$70 on top of the usual SE version isn't it? So ~ £43, sounds good to me, watching the unboxing it looks like an LED one though, poor range i'd imagine?
Shame the total cost is $150 for everything so over £90.
Is that version US only like these things usually are?

I'd say the Prestige Edition is going to cost around £120
Yeah saw that, ouch! Goggles are prob worth about £50/£60 for the type they are so that leaves £80 for the game which is the special edition which is retailing at around that anyway I believe?
I really hope the gameplay lives up to the hype, as it looks amazing.
I just did a little sex wee
Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
