Josh, I don't believe for a minute that you posted that gamer tag genuinely for people to find someone to play Forza with, which is not really that hard is it? It's just another one of your digs at Forza for not being "hardcore" enough for you. I really hope GT5 lives up to everything you want it to be, but I guess until then you can always play GTR or Need for Speed Shift.

Got my Season 6 achievment before How do you go about getting the 'Lapper' one, i did a hot lap and didn't get it and i assumed thats what it would be O.o

It's not right no, but it's easy to see how Terbinator and Trash Man could assume you were posting that link in an attempt to be sarcastic. Most of the contributions you've made to the thread thus far have been comments on how certain aspects of Forza 3 don't measure up to GT5 or how Turn 10 has dropped clangers in one way or another. So yes, they should have checked the link out before jumping to the wrong conclusion but your first post after that in which you provide links detailing the origins of that Gamertag made your point clearly enough, leaving it a couple of days then coming back and posting this however...

...is just immature behaviour in my opinion. If you've got an issue with the way you're being treated by other members the appropriate thing to do is report the member/s in question to the moderating team, that's what we're here for.

while what j.o.s.h. is doing with the casual account thing is honourable, the problem is that it is necessary to be doing that in the first place, its nothing more than a desperate attempt to try and make it more like forza 2 but totally missing the point at the same time.

Well, bringing this back on topic, i finally took the plunge yesterday and bought this. I'm really enjoying it.

It still has the same problems as before i think, the class system for the normal cars is a little too open and there's rarely more than 1 other car in the races close to the top PI that the race can support. Genrally means that the races are a little to easy untill you get to the R classes which are a real challenge.

Still pretty good game though

fair enough but i dont remember saying how certain aspects of this game dont measure up to a game not even out yet? Also, i am not the only one who has critiszed this game, I believe Madduck shared teh same critisism as i did when i posted the pros and cons of this game.

The fact that i said that the gamertag i made was to play with other "casual" players should have made it more obvious that it wasn't a sarcastic post!

Fair enough if i just posted that gamertag with NO explanations then yea you could get misinterpret it that but the fact i even said the purpose of the gamertag makes you wonder if a selected few here are trying to "poke at me" just for the sake of it.

I thought people here are a bit intelligent? not being rude mate but wasn't my original post obvious? Sure i diddnt post direct links and posted a paragraph of its purpose but damm couldn't people figure it out by the sentence "race with casual players" ?

It also is not an excuse to assume that i was being sarcastic just because i criticised this game "a bit" Have you guys not read my pros and cons? Hardly bashing this game when i play it more than most members in here and the fact that the most important part of this game ie the GAMEPLAY is what i love the most

Toss in the fact that MOST of my cons are about public lobbies also needs questioning on how i so called criticise this game.

This one in particular I think lead directly to people (myself included until I read the post in which you explain the origins of the account) not being sure if you were taking the mickey in posting an account called forza3 casual and providing little explanation. Then when other members get the wrong end of the stick you responded by calling into question their intelligence, calling everybody "jokers" and proceeded to bait Trash Man. Not really the most mature of responses especially if you believe as you say that the members in question have a grudge of some sort against you, because as I said, that's something for the mod team to deal with and you should have gotten in touch with us directly, it's what we're here for.

Given that it's not just one of us that got the wrong end of the stick I doubt it's that we've all got axes to grind against you or something sinister, more that we did just get the wrong idea given the attitude of some of your earlier posts which, whether you intended them to or not, can easily be read as someone that didn't really care for the game in the first place and was just hanging round to put it down. Obviously that's not the case, you enjoy the game for what it is and you're able to express yourself in an intelligent and eloquent fashion when you want to so what I'd suggest in future is that maybe if you put a bit more thought into how you word things when you post all the time people wouldn't misunderstand your intentions and get hot under the collar as a result.

That's all I have to say on the matter as it stands at the moment. I think we've steered this thread more than far enough off topic over a misunderstanding, which as far as I'm concerned is exactly what this is. So, if you have anything else you'd like to bring to my attention or you believe certain members bear grudges against you (which is obviously unacceptable behaviour here on Hexus) I ask that you get in touch via PM so we can sort things out properly rather than cluttering up Parms thread any further. More importantly I ask that we ALL knock the snide remarks on the head and get back to talking about what we should be talking about, Forza 3

From the home menu, go into Leaderboards > Time Trial, select your track and press A to start, complete a lap and quit. Just got it myself
