I actually like the dirtyness of the AI when you whack it up to the hardest setting, the sly little digs and pushes they do This only works if you stay mid field though.

no reason to stay in midfeild past that big corner though, they all break early, tuck in and crawl round it. so little mini dude can just drive around them

Yeah that's bad on the AI front. I spent a try or two mid field just to see what would happen if I tapped the AI would they come back at me. Doesn't always work though.

    Re: The Forza 3 Thread

to be honest they could have done nothing to the AI and i wouldn't mind, i played my way through forza 2 without a single AI encounter. they are just a "minimum lap time" that you have to keep to while hotlapping for X number of laps.

multiplayer is what this game is about so having a descent physics model that doesn't make it too easy is more important than AI, at least for me.

actually i tell a lie, the "how many times can you lap the comp" on the enduro races was fun

and it has about 10 cars, im sure they could spend a lot longer on the cockpits since they were lazy elsewhere.

    and anyway -bumper cam ftw

I too feel like these cars grip better than they should, i can only assume theyve done it so its easy for newcomers to get a feel for in addition to auto-brake etc. Or maybe its just the newer 360Hz game engine too good compared to Forza 2s 240Hz IIRC.

IGN doesn't normally update on the weekend, but this is Halo so normal rules don't apply

you may be extracting the urine but i think you are probably spot on

edit: not that 360hz has made it better than 240hz or whatever the hell buzzwords they are trying to inflict us with. that's all bollocks, the first bit

GT has managed to have a solid physics engine that passes easily from gen to gen while only feeling "more", forza has suddenly inexplicably gone "different" perhaps the warning signs were when they started taking about the hz of the physics, perhaps we should have stopped them then.. for now i fear it is too late

edit again: trash man is doing really well on the quiet as ever i see

i played the demo and went back into forza 2 and i was struggling to find the difference between the two games. yes the graphics look better on this one but the handling and physics seems identical to forza 2.

is it a bad thing? no not really but after i have played shift, gtr evo and rfactor, i find it very easy to control on forza now. before when i first played this game (forza 2) i was rubbish and needed some of the aids on but now im playing with all aids off and finding it "very" easy in terms of handling.

I need to use some cars that ive got on Forza 2 first before i can say if the apparent changes are in the interests of the game or not.

    Re: The Forza 3 Thread

whether in the interest of the game or not everyone not holding on till 04.10 for GT5 (getting) or weirdly and strangely in love with nfsSHIFT are going to have to put the hours in on it.

i think wizzywig to be honest, its far too late now and SOMEONE within turn 10 will read this comment at some stage and they will know they made a few wrong decisions and it is getting people riled.

all they had to do was make forza2+ and they are doing there best to eff that up

edit: getting deja vue about this, did i tell anyone it would happen this way at any time?
