IGN doesn't normally update on the weekend, but this is Halo so normal rules don't apply

more than quite, but also interesting because i know in forza 2 it was not the perfect line

i think wizzywig to be honest, its far too late now and SOMEONE within turn 10 will read this comment at some stage and they will know they made a few wrong decisions and it is getting people riled.

all they had to do was make forza2+ and they are doing there best to eff that up

edit: getting deja vue about this, did i tell anyone it would happen this way at any time?
they added auto breaking and a rewind feature. what did you expect lol

hugely disappointed at auto rewind that feature sucks it ruins games.

i remember doing a 4hr endurance race on Gt4 with a mate in some horrible mazda and battling all the way through the race as we seemed to have to pit twice as often as the AI so everytime we got a lead they got it back. for my mate to bin it into a really big sand section with abut 6 laps left it lost us about 25 secs of which the AI popped past us with an 11 second lead at the end of that lap. We failed to make the time back up and had to redo the entire race, But that was fun Rewind feature we never would have had that.

So, you say you want to run a Time Trials / Free Run in the demo? Well here's how...

Select your car > Select your color > Select your Assists and Difficulty > Push "Y" for the Leaderboards > Push "A" to Start Race. Ta-da!

    You're welcome.

Couldn't you have redone the race anyway?

That is so so useful! I was resorting to letting the AI go up ahead, then backing up to give myself room to speed past the starting line.

I'll be giving the Free Run mode a whirl tonight, there's an ol' chum on my friends list that I just have to beat - he's slightly quicker than me in the Audi at the mo.

As for the game, I must admit, I'm absolutely thrilled with it thus far. My biggest annoyance is that the demo only allows two laps - not nearly enough time to get into the groove, need at least 50.

It's a joy to drive, and not bad to look at, too.

They seem to have added leaderboard support to the demo, I suggest we use that? It can be filtered by friends - though, everyone will need to add HEXUS folks to their friends lists to make comparisons.

On that note - if anybody does send me a friend request, please put a quick message saying who you are. I got to the point where my friends list was full of people I didn't recognise. Had a mass clear out of names that didn't ring a bell.

Going off topic, when the full game is out, we should run an in-house competition. One endurance race a week (50 lapper!), eight weeks, Formula 1-like scoring system. I did something similar with some friends on Forza 2, it was super.

This must be the only demo I have ever downloaded that was installed, tried and tested and deleted in the same evening. This is definitely a filler game for me for next year. Something to pass the time with when there is a slump in decent titles.
