Re: The Forza 3 Thread Been looking forward to this for ages, ever since i saw it mentioned on the web ages ago, downloaded the demo and played it. Gotta admit i was sceptical at first and my first play impression was that nothing much has changed since Forza 2, but the physics of the cars seem improved, and the backgrounds and tacks look a bit more polished and 'real'. Personally for me, they could have kept it almost identical to 2 with the addition of tracks and cars and i still would have loved it!!! Only thing i don't get is why the hell have they included that bloody stupid 'rewind' button, that smacks of the brilliant, but arcade like CM Dirt and GRID, seems a bit to much like cheating if you ask me, especially when you can use it as much as you like!!

Re: The Forza 3 Thread the racing line was bad enough, the only time it made any sense was in the driving tests of GT, people who need the racing line in a race shouldn't be racing. the game should lock them into driving tests etc till they can pass them

Re: The Forza 3 Thread Am i the only one whos getting fed up of the apperent: I h8 the rewind function/button/n00ness trolls. It cant be used online and i dont tend to find myself relentlessly mashing the back button when im playing, so it shouldnt affect you unless you are, hey presto, a newbie to the game. Its there to get people into the genre without punishing them over and again, its not like using the rewind function in a race is going to net you a bigger prize than not using it.

Re: The Forza 3 Thread The rewind feature doesn't bother me in the slightest, I know that if I have to resort to using it, I've failed, simple as, of course it is a useful feature to quickly learn the best line around a corner and I've used it for that. I don't see what the fuss is about, you can't use it to gain an advantage online, and you can't use it to post a super stonking laptime, so what's the problem !?

Re: The Forza 3 Thread Personally I think the rewind feature is an excellent addition. It's of no use to me, but my missus had a go with the game and after going off at every corner, she was thrilled to find out she could rewind until she got it right. In that respect, a lot of Forza 3's hand-holding features are superb. She plays with auto-brakes, auto-gears and the works. She still manages to keep going off, but she's far more willing to learn and turn the assists off one by one. Flipping the coin, it's also equally important that leaderboards clearly differentiate what times were achieved with which assists. It's rare for a racing simulator to appeal to a wide audience, but I reckon Forza 3 could do it. Looking forward to seeing what people do with the livery editor.

Re: The Forza 3 Thread I was blown away by the designs that people managed to put together in Forza 2. The editor in 3 has been given a major overhaul and is a lot more powerful this time. I did not think that they could really get any better than we saw in Forza 2. Also looking forward to see what people can come up with this time. It's a shame you can't import on skin from 2 to 3 though, I have some cracking cars.
