Yep, a lot of the banks seem to offer a similar package. But I hear they are tough on claims

I don't have any insurance and never have. My fiancée has it with her bank account but tbh if it's a "free extra" on her account what is she actually covered for?

I dropped my iPhone in the warehouse at work a few weeks back and the glass cracked, so I went on eBay and just bought the glass again for £5.... That's less then one monthly sub for most peoples insurance and I had the glass with me and fitted the next day.

Most parts can be bought on places like eBay and they are that cheap I couldn't justify paying an insurance sub each month.

The only time I can see the insurance having any value is if the phone is lost or stolen these days.

I have my insurance through vodafone on all three of my contracts. Have found them invaluable over the years. Never quibbled each time my phones have been liquid damaged over the years. Kids and tech dont mix so wouldnt be without it.

if you don't have kids or pets, then probably not worth having insurance. They usually have alot of exclusion criteria as well.

I also don't bring expensive phones on Holiday, I usually bring an old cheap phone like my Trusty Samsung SGH
