    Brushed Aluminum Phone

Does anyone know of a very hardy metal phone - I'm up for a new contract and want one that won't look like it's gone 15 rounds with Sugar-Ray when I've had it in my pocket for 15 minutes.

    Thanks

Most of the Nokia N91's casing is stainless steel. You can tell when you pick it up though, it's not the lightest of phones.

cheers guys - I really can't work out why there aren't more phones made out of brushed ali - actually yes I do: people would replace half as often.

Just dont put it in your pocket with your keys?

My old MDA Compact sat in my pocket for 18 months with the only scratches being one in the corner where i dropped it, and the stupid mirror next to the camera.

THis is with no screen protector or anything.

Phone in left pocket, keys in right, wallet in your back one = no scratches.

That said, the girlfriends v3x gets bashed around in her bag with all manner of crap and hasnt scratched in the 8 months shes had it.

This is a simple solution for most, but for me ot doesn't work - I've got a 3 year old, 18 month old and another on the way, there's a certainly inalienable truth about children: they love phones, especially throwing them.

My K800i hasn't done so badly, and thats had a pretty harsh life (uni, pub, clubs, general clumsiness)
