Unhappy Motorola Razr V3 driving me mad!!!

    Hi All,

This is my first post to this forum, and would appreciate a bit of advice.

My Motorolla Razr V3 phone has a problem in that it keeps powering itself down. This problem is nothing to do with charger or battery (both checked out), but seems to be software related. A hard reset fixes the problem for a while, but it gets progressively worse and worse as time goes on.

When running update software from Moto website, it checks out fine, and says that no update is required.

What I would like to try (unless there are any better ideas) is to totally re-install the phone software. Is there any easy way to do this?

    Cheers All,

    Zip

I used to flash my old v3i to the latest firmware and software and add custom themes, fonts, startup/shutdown animations, etc and was easy to do remember to backup your original firmware (aka Flash) and software (aka Flex).
