Re: Viewty V N95 It was a huge mistake on their part. Had been threatening to leave for weeks and they kept gradually bettering the deals they were offering. One day they called and said that their system was down and that was the deal they could offer (it was dependant on taking a sim only contract as well but i can cancel this after a month). I phoned back the next day and they said that i should not really be getting it but as they quoted it they had to honour it. My advice is keep phoninng up asking for your PAC code and they will crumble eventually. Wasn't even that fussed about the phone but i am one of these people that loves to negotiate a better dela for myself. Probably would've settled for a 6300 in all honesty. ![]() Ryan 1 Vodafone 0

Re: Viewty V N95 Heh, lucky bugger. ![]() In the vodafone shop in town this weekend, the sales guy even admitted that to get any deals like new customers get, you'll have to ring Vodafone CS and threaten to leave, or even actually leave and rejoin. Pathetic attitude from Vodafone to their existing customers. I'll be getting in touch with Vodafone's CS in due course, although I suspect I'll have to wait a couple of months before it's possible to get an N95-8GB for free for less than £35 per month - failed computer systems not withstanding.

Re: Viewty V N95 Got myself a viewty and it's doing pretty well so far. Takes a while to get used to the interface but now I can text incredibly fast. It even survived being dropped down the toilet which is incredible...lol Ask to speak to a supervisor and say that you have had a bad experience with customer relations. Gets teh talking seriously straight away. I did so, but I did actually have a bad experience Orange CS. I'm on a Dolpin 35 plan...600 mins Unlimited Texts for £25 a month. Was previously paying the same for 150mins and 650 texts on my Samsung E900.

Re: Viewty V N95 I found you have to be really persistent. It was only when i phoned up for the 5th time and kept asking for my PAC code did they eventually ring back and start offering the good stuff. Power to the consumer.

Re: Viewty V N95 Vodafone do do well out of me as i am not a heavy user - always have texts/minutes left over at the end of the month. Like to have the phone there just in case i need it and feel that i would spend £20 a month on PAYG anyways.

| Re: Viewty V N95 I've had the Viewty for 4 months now and i'm pretty impressed so far. The screen has taken a lot of beatings and although the screen protector has seen better days the handset still looks pretty good. The menus can be a little slow sometimes and you can forget about giving your phone to someone else to play with as it takes a good week to get good using it. Camera has been good when i've used it.....although i can't say I've stressed it. Battery life is about 5 days or 1 day if you don't enable power save which i think is what most people complain about. I got it on Three back when i think they actually offered it. I pay £25 a month for 350min, 50Vid, 50mms and 650txts and £5 download on a 12 month contract although i paid £120 for the phone. Wish i'd kept my nokia 8800 though |eBay| Because monkeys never hurt anyone. |Hexus| -=|For Sale Thread|=- -------- -=|sam-t.co.uk|=- "If crime fighters fight crime, and fire fighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight?" |
